last segment. Now let's transition to the defensive side of the ball. In the next hour, you're going to have the Michigan football defense a breakdown with Vans Bedford right now. A conversation the media had yesterday with Michigan defensive coordinator, Wink Martindale. We're going to bring that to you right now here on the Michigan insider here is Wink on the Big 1050 WTCA. All right, started off. I was really proud of the way we played Saturday against Northwestern

with all the different challenges we face throughout the game. You know, anytime you take an

offense like that who's averaging 170 yards of game rushing and hold them to 61 and 242 yards total, and it's a good football team and it's a good offense.

And, you know, the other, you know, we were two of 12.

They were two of 12 on third down.

That played a big role.

We held them with three field goals in the red zone.

I'm just trying to bring them off the top of my head here.

You know, and then obviously the key two four-minute stops,

which is a rarity in football period.

So I was really pleased with our guy's attitude,

our effort throughout the entire game,

you know, and different guys at different times, you know, stepped up and made plays.

It was pretty cool to see, you know, the play that Y.
