So in the last segment, we introduced you to.

You heard from new defensive coordinator Kelvin Shepard.

He has some new members of his coaching staff.

Obviously, as Aaron Glenn left to go to the Jets, he took some guys with them.

I think Ben Johnson might have taken some guys with him as well.

So we have a few new staffers here in Detroit for that coaching staff, including, of course,

the promotion of Kelvin Shepard to D.C., but also incoming new run game coordinator,

defensive line coach Casey Rogers. Most recently, Casey Rogers had been in Tampa Bay since 2019,

first the defensive line coach, then serving as D-Line Coach and Run Game Coordinator,

which is his title he's going to have here in Detroit.

Prior to that, he served for a few years as D.C. for the Jets.

Prior to that, he was D-Line Coach for the Dolphins, the Cowboys.

Prior to that, Arkansas, Middle Tennessee, so he was in college prior to that.

But he's been in coaching since 1994, and he is now, and you'll hear in his voice, he is from

Humboldt, Tennessee, and he definitely sounds like he's a little bit from Humboldt, Tennessee,

although he has been around the NFL now since 2003.

That was when he got into pro coaching when he joined the Dallas Cowboys.

He is the new defensive line coach and run game coordinator for the Detroit Lions.

His name is Casey Rogers.
