was about to strike midnight we reached the deadline to withdraw from the NBA draft to retain

NCAA eligibility and there were some major decisions that had to be made last night

and there were a lot of decisions last night that were made that were really good for college basketball.

In fact, there's a lot of guys made a decision to come back yesterday.

So the one that most of us around here were keeping an eye on because it involves the school up the road.

At around 1020 last night, we found out that Jeremy Fears will be back for his fourth year in East Lansing,

his third full season as MSU's starting point card.

I mean, a lot of guys dragged it out to the very end.

And I don't know if this was negotiation for NIL.

If this was the fact that guys just loved the attention.

I have no idea.

But he did draw it out long enough for us to mention again that, you know, because we

talked about it yesterday, that he has a propensity for kicking groins.

And so this is great news for the nether regions of players in the professional

basketball rankings. But collegiate players, big 10 players, better, better gear up, better

protect yourself because Jeremy Fears is coming back for a senior season. And this is the thing.

He is a terrific playmaker. If you look at the Ken Palm analytics, he is one of the top playmakers and one of the top players in America. He was last season. He doesn't need the antics. He doesn't need to mule kick dudes from Michigan and Minnesota and other schools. We, he doesn't need coaches and fans and media types enabling saying he didn't really do anything because we've all seen the video it's not it's like if you came out here you go somewhere you say something and then people are like then you try to deny saying it even though we have audio of you saying something you there's video of you doing it you can't deny you did. He has a propensity for kicking groins.

We know that.

So you've got to be on your toes.

And hopefully he'll clean that part up.

But I don't expect it because his coach enables it and allows it and probably encourages
