I'm going to get to the headlines from recruiting in just a moment.

But I found something to be really interesting as we hit July 1st and the revenue sharing checks were starting to be distributed.

I found this piece of information to be very interesting.

The Big 10, not each individual school, but the Big Ten is a conference.

They are the ones that are distributing the revenue share from the conference office.

And they're doing it through a partnership with PayPal.

I believe the Big 12 is another conference that is also partnered with PayPal.

It's a centralized payment system.

The league is making the payments on behalf of the schools to the athletes for the

distribution.

So essentially what they're doing is the revenue sharing dollars are being withheld by

the conference from the money that they would generally get from the TV contracts.

The conference is withholding those dollars and they're paying the athletes directly that Rev share.

So the schools are the ones that are submitting to the conference office, what the, you know,

who the athletes are that are getting paid, how much are getting paid, the dates of the payments,

et cetera.

All that is to be centralized.

It's to avoid complications by the schools, by the conference, et cetera.

And the Big Ten said that this was according to reports,

that they had distributed athletes three of the schools on the first day on July 1st.

And all the schools will have their first wave of revenue distribution by the end of the
