While there might have been a holiday weekend, our sports news and games did not take a break.

Tigers went down to Cleveland, took care of business in their series down there it started with on Friday with a

two one victory and then on Saturday this is coming off of a loss to the nationals where they lost

two out of three games to the Nats where they they split the Wednesday doubleheader last week

and then they lost on Thursday they actually actually lost that series to Nationals.

Then the Tigers go to Cleveland and they win Friday on 2 to 1.

Saturday 1-0, which was just a phenomenal gem by Casey Mize. And then they won yesterday 7 to 2 in 10 innings.

And this is quite a performance.

First of all, Casey, our Terris Coobel is just phenomenal.

Terik Scoobel, he went yesterday, seven innings, gave up three hits, no walks, 10 hits.

Terik Scoobal's last two outings against Cleveland, 16 innings pitched, no earned runs,

23 strikeouts, zero walks.

He had 10Ks yesterday, had 13Ks, the previous outing against the

against the Guardians.

Now, he did not get a decision because he was on the mound.

There were no run scored by the Tigers.

And then Horn gives up a run.

Lee comes in.

He actually ends up getting the win in the game because the Tigers, and then Horn gives up a run. Lee comes in, he actually ends up getting the win in the game
