Little college football talk.

Obviously, we talked a lot of football over the last couple of days because the Michigan

spring game was on Saturday.

But this is a big picture college football because this week, members of the college

football playoff governance committee, which are the 10 FBS conference commissioners and

Notre Dame's AD.

They're gathering in Dallas for their annual spring meetings.

They hold up and they get hold up in a room at a hotel, a conference room somewhere,

for two days, 15 hours a day.

Those are insane long meetings, but apparently they get a lot done.

For today in particular, there has been a lot of time that has been allotted to discuss playoff expansion.

Although no decision is expected this week.

They're just going to talk about it.

They keep saying they're going to talk about it and eventually they're going to make a decision,

but they keep talking every time they have another meeting, they talk more about it, and then it doesn't go anywhere, but they keep talking about it. And so there was, so the meetings are taking place down to Dallas.

And there's growing sentiment for a 2014 playoff.

Obviously, we're sitting there at 12 right now.

They're not changing it from 12 for the upcoming season.
