Welcome back to the Michigan insider here on the big 1050 WTKA online at the big 1050.com.

We keep talking about the inching closer and closer to July 1st and what was supposed to be the start of the implementation of the house settlement.

But of course there really actually isn't a settlement yet.

So we're very much up in, up in, you know, everything's still up in limbo and we don't

know what's going to actually happen.

We expect it to happen at some point in the next few weeks and that things will somehow

get rushed into implementation right around, if not July 1st, maybe mid-July.

But you can't get too far after that as fiscal calendars and university calendars are about

to get, I'm assuming

anywhere, about to begin again in August, in July and August.

And then, of course, in September, if you aren't starting sooner.

So it's a very interesting time to be in this limbo land.

And Sam spent a little bit of time talking about, you know, how you deal with that on the

recruiting side, et cetera.

But there was an interesting comment I saw yesterday.

Just happened to come across social media yesterday because good old slick Rick,

Rick Patino, the head coach at St. John's, throughout the first pitch at the Yankees game

last night at Yankee Stadium.

And so, I mean, it's really neither here nor there that he threw out the first pitch.

He just happened because he was there.

He spoke to Michael Kay on TV.

I assume it was on the yes network.
