Let's flip our attention to the defensive side of the ball for Michigan State,

which has also been somewhat concerning from a line perspective.

Michigan State enters this game with the worst scoring defense in the

Big Ten. They've allowed 34 plays of 20 plus yards this season, which is 17th in the Big Ten.

And I know in following Michigan State, Stephen, that the defensive line in the edge room,

that after last year, they went, it felt like the entire season

without getting a sack. I know that's a little hyperbolic, but there was hope that that

was not, yeah, maybe not too much of an exaggeration. There was some hope that that would

be improved, but it seems like that hasn't been the case and it seems like everything

else kind of stems from there.

Yeah, you know that. Yeah. I mean, I kept wondering in both transfer windows like, okay, when

are they going to address the D line? When are they going to address the D line? And I mean,

they eventually they sort of did, but not in clearly not in like a tangible way.

I mean, the guys they brought in on the edge were all either unproven that, you know, they got a guy from Wisconsin and Nellu LaFelaela, who's not out for the season.

Unfortunately, he had actually shown a little bit of flash, but retro freshman playing his first college football this year.
