Let's go ahead and dive into Michigan State, which enters at three and four, won the first

three games of the season.

They've lost all four in Big Ten play.

That is to USC, Nebraska, UCLA, and Indiana.

Need to win three of the last five to make a bowl game for the first time since 2021,

which A, is longer than I expected for Michigan State not making a bowl.

And B, I think people expected a bit of a rebuild with Jonathan Smith,

but the tenor that I've heard out of East Lansing over the last few weeks is a bit more discontent than patience.

So walk us through what big picture hasn't gone well for Jonathan Smith this year?

And how long is his leash and how important is this game in terms of whether that tenure is going to last in East Lansing?
