It is now time to continue and conclude this week's edition of behind enemy lines.

So once again, here is Alejzaniga from the Michigan Insider.com here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTK.

Let's flip our attention to the Indiana defense, which honestly has been similarly impressive, at least when you look at the statistics.

Entering this game, Indiana, the Hoosiers are seventh nationally in scoring defense, 13.7 points per game.

Third in total defense, allowing just 260 yards per game until Michigan State.

So until last week, they had held every opponent scoreless in the first quarter.

And while the Spartans did move the ball very well early, Indiana finished with maybe its most

impressive showing defensively of the season.

They had seven sacks, most since 2017 for the program, 15 tackles for loss, the most since 2016,

and held Michigan State to minus 36 rushing yards, which I am pretty sure is not a typo,

and I am confident is a program record.

PFF charted them for 31 quarterback pressures.

Again, Matt, I'm looking at NFL mock drafts. I'm not seeing a ton of Hoosiers

up at the top for 2025. Where did this come from? I know the mantra is create havoc and swarm to the

ball, but it seems like there's got to be more of an explanation than that. Yeah, I mean,

it's hard to put your finger on it. I mean, when you look at the D-Line, McCall-Kamara, who's just been a beast.

I mean, he should be first team all big 10.

He probably should be in conversation for Big 10 defensive player of the year, leading

the league in sacks, tackles for laws.

Every game, every game he has been, and I do a PFS story. You guys might do that too, where I list the scores. And every week, he is

literally almost always the highest or in the top two or three graded guys for the defense.
