Discuss this yesterday, but it's definitely worth discussing again because today is a big day down in New Orleans.

Because you have leadership executives from the Big Ten and the SEC gathering today for their second conversation.

If you recall, their first conversation happened in October, they met in Nashville.

And that was when Greg Sanky put out that seemed kind of like, was it a threat?

Was it a statement?

Not really sure, but he said about the 12-team playoff, quote, this just has to go incredibly

well.

And as we know, the 12-team playoff did not go incredibly well, especially from an SEC

perspective or a balanced bracket perspective.

And so the SEC and the Big Ten don't necessarily like it.

And so they're meeting.

And more or less, Greg Sanky and Tony Petiti want to take over.

That's really what it comes down to is they want to take over as much of the CFP as they possibly can.

At least that's what it sounds like.

It sounds like a takeover is really what is coming.

Now, part of this I understand in the context of, and we've talked a lot about this,

because it is what created the imbalance in the bracket for the playoff.

When they created the playoff format, there were four relatively, actually even five, relatively equal power conferences.

You still had the LA schools in the PAC 12, and the PAC 12 was still a fairly formidable conference.

Maybe they haven't had the same seasons as of recently but that's why it was the format was created the way there it was
