And down the stretch they come.

But more or less, the final quarter of the Big Ten men's basketball season remains.

Michigan has six games remaining.

UCLA has four games.

Wow, they really have four games remaining. Most teams have five games remaining. UCLA has four games. Wow, they really have four games remaining.

Most teams have five games remaining, but some have four.

Looks like Purdue has four games remaining.

UCLA, as I said, they have four.

But most have five games remaining.

Michigan has six.

And out of those six, four of the final six are at home.

And their Michigan is sitting at 12 and two at the top of

the big 10. This game on Friday night, you know, talk about how big of a game it is and we want to

send one of you there. We're going to give away those tickets at Oscars on Friday night while we're

hanging out from five until seven. But you look at the standings and if you kind of go through

the remainder of the schedules for everybody else and you look at Michigan with the home game against Michigan State at Nebraska versus Rutgers versus Illinois versus Maryland, so a three-game home stretch and then at Michigan State, when you look at those games and the way Michigan's defended home court and who Michigan is playing in that stretch, even the road game at Nebraska.

You look at the middle four games of that schedule and you say, all right, they should be able to win those middle four games.

That 16 wins in the big 10.

The magic number, if you want to win the big 10 outright, might be 17 and 3.

And that's a better record than I think most people were expecting.
