Casey Meis actually was pretty good yesterday. Six and two third four hits to earn runs. No walks four strikeouts. The Tigers lost three one because the tigers cannot score runs. Tigers have lost 14 of the last 16 games. The Tigers have scored 10 runs in their last six games.

10 runs in their last six games.

It was nine in five.

It's 10 and six.

Like you can't average two runs a game.

That's tough.

So the free had a tweet yesterday.

The free press had a tweet yesterday. The Freep said,

only six AL teams have worse odds to make playoffs than Detroit Tigers.

My alternate take on the tweet was,

there are actually six AL teams that have worse odds to make the playoffs than the Detroit Tigers?

Like, that's how I wonder.

Chicago White Sox is out there?

No, the White Sox are about 500 right now.

Oh, wow. Okay. Apparently, I need to tap in. Yeah, but they actually do have worse odds. According to, according to Fangraphs, the Tigers have a 28% chance of making the playoffs. I can't believe that's actually that high. Ouch. Yeah. Below that, you have the twins at 24.4%.

And the thing is the White Sox actually have a better record, but their odds are worse, which is funny.
