Welcome back inside the Annabur Studios of the Big 1050 WTKA online at the big 1050.com.

The Michigan men's basketball team took care of Washington yesterday, 9175 at the Chrysler Center following the game.

We heard from head coach Dusty May.

Before we get to Dusty, we also heard from Oscar Goodman a few minutes with the newest member of the Michigan men's basketball team.

We explained to you last week that the young man who was in Michigan's recruiting class for

the upcoming season was, he's from Australia.

And he graduated in November.

And so he's done with school.

He has now enrolled at Michigan.

He is in this semester.

He is going to redshirt for this back half of the season.

He'll be listed as a redshirt freshman when he plays for the Wolverines next year. But he gets to go through all the other experiences right now. He's a part of the practice squad. He gets to go on the road trips. He gets to be a part of practice.

All the other team activities. And what a great experience in growing lesson, learning lessons and growth that he can gain during this time and be ready to have an

impact on Michigan's team next year when he is not, I guess, a freshman anymore,

but it'll be a redshirt freshman, but he's almost like half of a freshman.

I don't know.

Anyway, it'll call him a redshirt freshman next year, but you get the idea.

It's going to be a great opportunity for growth for the remainder of these next few months,

the second semester on campus.
