So the NFL draft, round one on Thursday, rounds two or Friday night, and then rounds

rounds two and three are Friday night.

And then rounds four through seven were on Saturday into Saturday evening.

Not the deepest draft for the Michigan football team.

We've obviously seen deeper in recent years.

But the Wolverine still had six Michigan football team. We've obviously seen deeper in recent years. But the Wolverine still had six Michigan football players that were selected over the weekend in the NFL draft.

I actually expected this guy to be the first Michigan player off the board.

We talked about him on Friday.

In fact, I kept asking Sam about him for the lions.

What were the lions, you know, is he in a position where the lions might want to take him?

And that would be edge Derek Moore. And that is exactly what the lions, who the lions selected in the second round. We talked about how they needed to pair somebody. wanted to the first round they get an offense tackle.

They did that.

And then, of course, we went to the second round

and we talked about the need was to

um, the top need was edge. And in fact, the lions moved up to trade. They were in the 50 spot. And they moved up to 44 to get Derek Moore. And we talk about it. When you're bored and your needs align, you have some draft capital behind you because they had two fours, two five, two sixes. So they had the ability to move around in the draft. And so in the end, they only made one fourth pick and one six round pick. So they moved two of their picks around, move two of their picks to make, to move around in the draft a little bit. And they were able to move up and Derek Moore is their guy. So they aligned their board with their needs. So you move up a couple spots to make sure you get the guy you want. And I honestly believe and I have no idea. I have no information to prove this. But at 44, Derek Moore goes to the Lions. And they obviously had been at 50.

They moved up six spots.

Oh, at 45, the Ravens take Zion Young and edge from Missouri.

And I'll be honest, I kind of think that maybe I don't have enough information to know this for sure.

But the Lions really like Derek Moore from a local visit.

I'm pretty sure that the Ravens brought Derek Moore in for a local visit as well because he's from Baltimore.
