On Thursday night, the Detroit Lions 28th pick in the NFL draft selected Ohio State defensive lineman Tyleek Williams, 6-3, 330 plus pound defensive lineman.

Over the weekend, we had a chance to meet him.

He had his introductory press conference with the Lions.

So here is Tyleek Williams meeting with the media.

Now here on the Michigan Insider on the big 1050 WTCA.

Just soaking in with what is the last 12, 15 hours been like for it?

For me, it's just been a mix of emotions, you know, from crying to, you know, being happy.

And, you know, just spending the time with my family for real and friends who's, you know, from crying to, you know, being happy. And, you know, just spending the time with my family for real and friends who's, you know,

been by my side this whole journey.

It's really how I wanted to spend it, you know, with the people who came up with me.

And it's just been a great feeling.

In between that and then, you know, I think you've met it overweight and kind of getting that under controls or, you know, two signs, a pretty strong work ethic.

You know, where does that come from?

Where were you able to kind of tap into that?

I'll say I was born with it.

The work ethic is, that's been me and my whole life.

I think in college, I had a great support staff around me who helped elevate that, you know,

build it to what it is now, but I think I've always had it.

On the cusp of, you know, achieving the ultimate goal.

You just did that with Ohio State.

How do you think being a perennial title contender in college can help you at this next level?
