It's time for our weekly check-in with Michigan men's lacrosse coach, Kevin Connery. Coach, welcome back to the show. How are you? I'm doing okay. Can't complain. All right. So let's jump right into it. Tough one last Saturday against Lehigh here in Ann Arbor. Actually had pretty decent weather in Ann Arbor. but Lehigh jumped out on you guys early.

5-0-0.

You were able to claw back

and then it was a

nip-tuck game down the stretch, ends up going to overtime. Take us through the 14-13 overtime loss to Lehigh.

Yeah, you know, I think credit to Lehigh, they were generally excited and came and gave us everything

they could in the first 15 minutes. You know, we were kind of, you know, never really got into our groove. And so,

you know, it was a tough loss, but you know what? Every loss in February is an opportunity

for us to learn about our team and what we need to do. And, you know, Lehigh loss is like no other, you know.

So we have a lot of preparation to do for our upcoming trip down to Atlanta with the Army.

But, you know, I think the best thing that we can do is look at Lehigh and say we weren't ourselves,

right?

And, you know, and they took advantage of that. And so we have to go ahead and realize that every time we step on the field is a great opportunity to prove, you know, who we are and what our culture is all about. All right. So you're four games into your season. Three and one, you have a few non-conference games left. And, of course, Big Ten play is going to start at the end of, at the end of March or late March.

But you actually just want to mention to the fans, you will actually be on a pretty decently long road trip.

You will not have a home competition until March 28th.

Wow, that is a long time between now and between home competitions.

And something else that I noticed looking ahead on your schedule is that you have nine

games remaining.

And every single one of those nine games, they're ranked right now.

So we know your schedule is going to be one daunting.

We only take them one game at a time.
