In fact, a pair of them. Starting with wide receiver, Cheney Goodwin, who has some big grabs, including that third and long grab on the two-minute drill drive for Michigan late in the first half. So here is Channing Goodwin now here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTK. What was God to be in mind during that 49-yard cash you had on Saturday?

I'd say really just make the play, you know, we're backed up behind the sticks, third down, so

we executed in practice, so, you know, just get to the game, same thing,

and just yeah, touch the ball and make it play, so yeah.

So were you after one on that play? Yeah, I mean, that's kind of Bryce, you know, he goes through his progressions, you know, and then luckily he was ever progressed towards me and I was able to pick up the first. The throw was right in the money too, wasn't it? Oh yeah, yeah, it was right there my hands and I was able to cut the field and gain some back. How did it feel in general to go out there be a starter after, you know, kind of waiting your turn? Yeah, it felt amazing. You know, like you said, you know, kind of waiting my turn a little bit last year and being able to go out there making impacts on the field, it was definitely a great feeling. It sounded like you really kind of came on strong in camp. What was that process like for you? Yeah, really just, you know, building up the trust with the coaches every day in practice, proving them that I can do it in practice. So you can go ahead, go over there doing the game too. It is going to be a phenomenal environment, and a lot of guys getting that experience for the very first time, and I've talked about this before, and I'm sure I'll talk about it again over the next couple of weeks. Win-lose draw, and you hope that, well, you win, and if you don't win, you hope that it's still a good, you know, solid performance.

That experience of going to Norman, Oklahoma is going to be invaluable in two weeks when you're going to be without your head coach.

And you're going to be going to Lincoln, Nebraska, which is going to be a very hostile environment.

And as you head into Big Ten play, there's not going to be a more hostile environment than Norman, Oklahoma.

There may be some as similar and similarly hostile, but it's a great way to get that first road experience for guys like Bryce Underwood and Channing Goodwin and many others to get that first reel when you're in that key role.

Or for Bryce, obviously, second game ever.

So it's a great opportunity on Saturday night.

Obviously, you go down there to win the game and they have an opportunity to do that too.

But the experience that in a couple of weeks, it's going to really pay off in Big Ten

player or it should really pay off in Big Ten play.
