Sam Webb and Al Borges had such an extensive conversation about the Michigan football offense earlier in the week that we never had a chance to even get to Al's grades. So we're going to get to Al's Q&A and Al's grades coming up right now as it's the overtime segment as we had a lot of Al Borges for you on Wednesday and we didn't have enough time for the remainder. So let's get to the OT with Al Borges starting with his grades and then getting to the Q&A portion. So here is OT with Alborges. Sam and Al talking Michigan football, offensive football. Breakdown now here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTKA. Al, let's get into your grades for the Michigan offense. Let's start with the QB, Al.

Let's take it away. The quarterback was a B, my opinion, still missed a few throws, still growing,

but never panicked. He had a fumble on a sack, recovered, didn't look like it shook him a bit. He came back and played a very solid football game, but again, his best games are ahead of him still. He still got some things, and he knows it, and he'll get coached, and he'll get better. So, but I gave, to win in that environment, doing some of the things he did, I didn't give him an A, but I gave him

a B and I think he's well deserved. The one I'm most proud of is the old line. Now, they, again, they weren't perfect. There were some times where it wasn't exactly the way you wanted, but there were some times it was perfect. There was some times you could drive a truck through the hole that they were they were providing for them.

And it was a little bit of a patchwork offensive line, Sam.

I think coach of the week is Grant Newsom.

I think he just did a fabulous job of preparing those guys.

I gave them an A-minus, and I think they earned it.

But again, you can critique a lot of what they did and say, well, I didn't do this one. And you'd probably be right. But the sum total of their effort was at that level, I thought. Tight ends. Again, I'd sure like to get 80 back, but they weren't bad. I gave them a B. I thought they played solid. Wide receivers.

Again, I think there were opportunity to sketch a pass.

I gave them a C to C plus.

But I think that position is going to get better.

I really do as they grow.

The running backs, I gave an A.

I don't know how you can't.
