in the football field.

And this weekend, of course, no Michigan football to take in.

It would be a nice relaxing weekend when it comes to that.

But a lot, that's a pretty busy weekend, a really fun weekend, a pretty good weekend to have a Michigan by week, in fact, when it comes to football and beyond. But there is Michigan football on the show this morning. We're going to get to the conclusion of the Michigan football offensive breakdown with Al Borges. He's going to get to his grades and his Q&A session coming up in just a little bit here on the show.

We'll get to John E. Bacon in the 9 o'clock hour here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTKA. Fun night tonight in Ann Arbor, fun night, tomorrow night in Ann Arbor. It's a great weekend to have a Michigan biweek. Of course, the by week is what leads to the fun night in Ann Arbor tonight in tomorrow night because of the concert in town tonight, downtown in Arbor, free for all. And then tomorrow, of course, the big record-setting concert that we're going to have at the big house. It can be a lot of fun this weekend. But a lot of attention for all of us will be on the Tigers and they finally won. Tigers win. Tigers win. got off to a hot start in the game, and it actually mattered this time.

That has been a rarity for this team as they have gotten off to hot starts and or gotten the first runs in the game, and then they end up losing.

But finally, that was not the case yesterday.

They got off to, they built the lead.

Eventually it was a 4-1 lead. They actually could have made more out of it. They had bases loaded with one out in the fifth. And they pop out. They got a pop-up to shortstop by Torque and a strikeout swinging on a ball in the dirt by Riley Green. and in that moment it's kind of like, all right, you squandered an opportunity is 4-1 enough.

They carried that 4-1 lead to Finnegan with one out and a runner on in the first and the eighth.

And I can imagine as that pitching change is happening, the Tiger fans everywhere are not holding their breath. they're not counting their chickens, you're all nervous wreck, I can imagine. Finnegan gets the second out, but then Ramirez hits an RBI single to make a four or two. Not Finnegan's responsibility, but still he allows the run in. It's four or two. And the fan base obviously is not really good in a mental state right now. But the strikeout to end the eighth help for a moment.

And then they finish it off in the ninth and got the win.

And you can see the relief on the players.

I can sense it amongst the fans.

And so Tigers obviously needed that win.
