I'm Steve, your host for this podcast about the history of the Pope's Rome and Christian Church.

This is another History of the Papacy remastered episode. In these episodes, I've

updated the information and recorded them again, and I hope that I've really tried to work on

over the course of seven or eight years of the podcast on better audio quality and better

information. So hopefully you get both of those in here.

I think it is much better than the original. But I think you should really listen through from the

beginning, and probably many of you have to see the growth in the podcast and how some things

have changed and how my thoughts have changed, because I think that's a really cool part of this medium.

So I think that these remastered episodes serve as a great way to review or summarize

much of what I've discussed over the course of the entire podcast so far.

Now, in previous episodes of the history of the papacy, and particularly in the

history of the papacy remastered, season one, we've talked about the ordained offices of the church,

specifically the bishop, along with the discussion of Peter and Paul.
