It's been what, five years now?

I've been up on five years.

Time flies.

Is it weird that you're tracking?

I feel like you'd be tracking the time almost in reverse.

Like, there's another timeline you've established from the retirement time, and you're like,

I'm 10 years away from that life, and the further away it gets from that life, it's

almost like a detriment.

Like, you would count up a 20 year career for most people and look forward to getting

out, but your career, like, it ended already.

Yeah, it's amazing because even when we talk about the old life, it doesn't even seem

real to me.

I mean, you know, like you think about 06, 07, 08, Iraq, I mean, come on, man, you can't even

make a movie that people would believe about how those days were.

So you know, reliving that, but it feels even longer because when I was, when I hit 20,

you know, just the stressors of combat and with my family, I was coming to those conclusions

that what was I going to do next, you know.
