Recovery Elevator, episode one.

Welcome to the Recovery Elevator episode one.

I am your host, Paul Paul if you haven't listened to

episode zero it's about an eight minute intro to what this podcast is all about I

made a stark confession which I'll say again right now, I am an alcoholic.

At the time of this recording on February 19, 2015 at 747 AM, according my Recovery Elevator sobriety Tracker I have not had a drink

for 165 days and oh my gosh has it already been a long journey. I had the idea for the Recovery Elevator

podcast months before my very first day of sobriety and how come it's taken me

at 165 days to finally hit record and make this very first episode and in fact this

first episode probably won't even be released for another couple weeks is because

well early sobriety is a bitch.

Pardon my language, yes, early sobriety is extremely difficult.

And my goal in the first 72 hours, let alone make a podcast, learn, new programs, website hosting, all the above,

which was completely foreign to me.

Goals were simple, like eat a healthy breakfast.

Wake up before noon.

Go out for a walk. Walk your dog. Those were goals in early sobriety.

And I slowly added more tasks to my plate. Now I was ready to start recording these

episodes around day 30, but I wanted to get a little bit more time underneath my belt before we launched.
