CBeebies Radio takes you to a world of sound and music where you can share imaginative adventures and listen to stories and songs with your favourite CBeebies friends and characters. CBeebies Radio is a BBC Radio service for pre-school children and can help to develop their listening skills and imaginations. It is only available in the UK. A podcast consisting of an array of classic and iconic CBeebies characters will be available every day from 6am as well as bonus podcasts and podcast compilations for those special moments throughout the year.

On their journey to the Cave of Doom, they have to circumnavigate a flock of staring ducks, deal with some argumentative Snooters, brave a dangerous collapsing bridge and the small matter of a fire breathing Dragon. As long as music is involved then the Odd Socks are always keen for an adventure! Will Ganymede recover the Queen’s ring?

Many years ago, the Jade Emperor of China held a race across a great river to decide the order of the years of the Zodiac. The Jade Emperor invited all the animals of the world, but only 12 chose to race.Some of the animals are clever and crafty, some are easily distracted but they all make it across the river and the Emperor rewards each animal by naming a year in the Zodiac after each one.Musicians from the BBC Philharmonic are joined by broadcaster Nihal Arthanayake and guest guzheng player Zi Lan Liao to share a musical re-telling of this ancient legend.
