Summary
در سال 1991 اتفاقی افتاد که تبدیل شد به یکی از مهمترین وقایعی که باعث شد خشونت پلیس آمریکا، مخصوصاً نگاه نژادپرستانهاش، سرتیتر خبرگزاریهای دنیا شود. اتفاقی که هرچند در نوع خودش بیسابقه نبود و بارها مانندش رخ داده بود، اما بنا به دلایلی و با توجه به شرایط خاصش به کشته شدن دهها نفر و زخمی شدن و بازداشت چندین هزار آمریکایی و البته ایجاد یک میلیارد دلار خسارت به شهر لسآنجلس ختم شد. در سانگل دوم از مجموعه پادکست آلبوم به این ماجرا میپردازیم و اینکه چگونه باعث بوجود آمدن یکی از مهمترین و شاخصترین آهنگهای اعتراضی تاریخ، یعنی آهنگ «کشتن به نام» از گروه آمریکایی «ریج اگنست د ماشین» شد
