weeks we are currently in the middle of exploring the evolution of the zombie movie and this is part five in which we take a little break from the walking dead to explore the world of David Cronenberg and body horror and its link to the evolution of the zombie movie.

Now this is your spoiler warning. We will be talking about David Cronenberg's first two feature films,

that shivers from 1975 and Rabid from 1977. We'll be

talking about both these movies in detail including their endings. So let that be a warning to you. If you haven't seen these two

classics of the genre then go away and seek them out. Not only that I've got a

very special treat for you this week. I also got the chance to interview a member of the

cast of David Cronenberg shivers. The brilliant Lynn Lowry who played Nurse

Forsyth in the movie sat down and had a little chat to me about what it was like to make the film and what

it was like to work with the legend that is David Cronenberg. So you will be hearing a little bit of my chat

with Lynn later on in the episode.
