The In 1985, two filmmakers with very different styles each made their own zombie movie.

One of the films made by George Romero was designed as a closing chapter to a trilogy

and was far more bleak, more nihilistic and more challenging than anything he had made before. The other film was what ended up being the first in a brand new zombie franchise
