It's not actually that surprising that I got sick after the last few weeks, if you've been following

alone on Substack. You can probably hear it in my voice. And it's actually tempting in the AI

era because I made the joke last night on the live stream Q&A for members that by the end

of it, I sound like Joan Rivers. It's like, why don't I make myself sound like Joan Rivers using AI? Anyway, it's not that surprising because moves are stressful

at the best of times. And as I have mentioned on the substack, there was some necessary

feels to feel in this process of leaving this wonderful apartment

and not because it's bad or a mistake or I'm sad. It's not that at all. It is to feel the

feelings of an ending because, you know, not all tears are in evil and so on.

So the stress of the move, and before you say, oh, Mercury retrograde, just sit down.

Mercury is always retrograde in Paraguay.

It's just Paraguay.

Everything that could go wrong did go wrong because that's just normal.

That's just normal from,

and I teased him already about this, my feckless producer, not showing up on time to help with the

move, just because he slept in, just because whatever. And then the removalists breaking the

water machine. And the thing about Paraguay when you're renting is you never get your bond

back. It's just part of it. Unless you showed up with your lawyer to start with, it just doesn't

happen. Which is very frustrating in the case of this apartment for me because it's objectively

better since me living there because no one had lived in it for a while. And anyway, I did have my lawyer there come through at the end,

so everything's mostly fine.

That bit was good.
