To think about the utility of doing this thing where you're going back and forth between genders,

say you have a driver's license and you're a male and you want to transition, you go to another

state, you grow your hair, you tell people you identify as a woman, and maybe you have a new driver's

license with a different gender and a different address. And so you're able to

you're able to hide out a little bit and kind of confuse law enforcement. So maybe there's

not so much a biological basis. Maybe on some levels there's this basis where it's really

handy to have two different identities.

But you know something like that is why the science of fingerprints is so damn important

because fingerprints tell us who the hell you actually are.

All right.

You can pretend to be, you know, Mickey Mouse or Buster Brown or whoever you want to be.

But once we take your fingerprints, we know who the hell you are.

And we may find out, oh, this person uses different names, different aliases, different

genders every time they get, you know, and if they get arrested a lot, oh, and that is the

beauty of fingerprints.

It consolidates everything. And we know who the hell you are.

You can call yourself whoever you want, but we know who you are.

Based on in New York State, it used to be what was called the Nicet number.

You know New York State inmate identification or whatever it stood for.

And then they would consolidate all your arrests from everywhere.

And this is the same number.

This is the arrest number.
