Hello, um, since this horror began, what I've tried to do is platform voices which we desperately need to hear from,

and voices which sadly much of the media have not been given, I guess the space that these voices deserve now I've done my best obviously to give

a platform to Palestinian voices but it's also so important to give a platform to Israeli

voices particularly those who support a lasting

peace which can only be based on the land being shared, based on justice and equality

between Israeli Jews and Palestinians. Without that there was no future and there was no hope.

And with that in mind I'm really delighted today to be speaking to Alan Mizrahi who is a really, really fascinating and insightful voice.

I've been following him on Twitter, I've been reading his stuff.

His treats keep going viral, and I think you'll see why, because I think he has a huge amount of very unique

insight and lived experience as well and but just you know there's you can everyone's

bored me saying these two words but moral clarity that for me is crucial given

everything that has happened he's an author blogger writer and so on and he comes from a really interesting

perspective because he is Israeli, he is Arab and he is Jewish.

And I think that brings a lot of particular lived experience.
