Summary

The perennially positive Ziggy Marley joins us on the couch for the first time to discuss his new, ninth solo album — his first in eight years, another collab with his brother Stephen who served as producer. The Grammy-winning son of Bob (and the writer of the ‘Arthur’ theme tune, “Believe In Yourself”) found himself seeking the light even in times of darkness and conversation veers from the virus that is racism and the killing of George Floyd to the unique sound frequency for healing to his higher purpose and calling in the world.

He also shares his early memories of being in the studio with his dad and the Wailers, the Bob Marley biopic ‘One Love,’ and his new song “Many Mourn for Bob.” Plus the commercialization of cannabis, an essay about a cockroach, a great story about meeting King Charles in Zimbabwe, and so much more.
