Donald is feeling the pressure of his failures, which are piling up.

I mean, he should be used to this by now, but it's taking a toll and it's starting to make him spin out.

While most Americans were asleep last night, at 2 a.m. Eastern time, Donald was wide awake,

doing what he often does in the middle of the night, rage posting,

like a lunatic on his failing social media site.

At 217, he wrote, quote, I like, I like President Xi of China, always have and always

will, but he is very tough and extremely hard to make a deal with, unquote.

Very soothing.

So nothing, says strong negotiator, like whining about the inability to negotiate in all caps to 2 o'clock in the morning.

This all came after China pushed back hard. Donald had accused

China of violating a 90-day trade truce because they refused to ease up on rare earth exports.

In retaliation, he restricted China's access to AI technology and threatened to revoke student visas.

China didn't flinch because they know a coward when they see one.

And on Tuesday, foreign minister Wang Yi summoned U.S. ambassador David Purdue and called out what he called a string of quote-unquote negative measures based on, quote, groundless reasons, unquote.

He demanded the U.S. meet China halfway. So what does that mean in the most

direct terms? Well, China is calling Donald's bluff. They know that his stance is ridiculous and he

can't back it up. So they're not backing down. And why should they? For Donald, though,

compromise is not a strategy with him. It is not something he understands because he considers compromise weakness. This is his way

of making a deal, quote unquote. This is my position. This is what I want. And that's it. Like,

if he doesn't get his way, then he just throws a temper tantrum

and ultimately gets his way. But that's only because people don't stand up to him. China has learned
