That was Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy

addressing the houses of Parliament in Westminster Hall.

A historic moment the first time that he's been to the UK since that invasion of Ukraine

by Russia last year, only the second time that he's left Ukraine since the beginning of the

wall, the first to address the houses of Congress in the US. And whilst there was a great sense of the stateliness, the pomp, the ceremony of

this occasion, at the heart of everything he said was this massive, unambiguous request for help.

It has been the Zelensky trademark.

I don't want a ride.

I want help.

And this time he's asking for fighter jets.

Just three days ago, the US and UK had ruled out giving fighter jets.

I wonder whether this moment will have turned the tide.
