1:12.7	So on the evening of May 11th, Putin gave this national address to Russia,
1:20.5	where he said that he was willing to have ceasefire negotiations with Zelensky in Turkey. Of course,
1:26.0	Putin was not serious about having these ceasefire negotiations. He just wanted to manipulate Donald Trump into believing he wanted ceasefire negotiations,
1:30.1	and he also wanted to try to delay sanctions from the European Union that were about to be imposed.
1:37.4	How do we know that Putin is not serious about having ceasefire negotiations other than the most
1:44.1	obvious that he just doesn't.
1:45.8	Well, because Zelensky has already agreed to an unconditional ceasefire,
1:51.8	while Putin continues to attack Ukraine and kill innocent Ukrainians with ballistic missiles,
1:58.7	drones, and other weapons on a daily basis. So as I said,
2:03.1	Putin wanted to manipulate Donald Trump into believing that Putin wanted to have these negotiations
2:08.8	so Donald Trump can make social media posts attacking Ukraine and he wanted to delay a sanctions
2:15.0	package from Europe. And Putin was able to achieve both of those things.
