Almost a week after it started, President Zelensky has confirmed Ukraine's long-awaited

counteroffensive against Russian forces is underway.

On Friday, President Putin said Ukraine was now on the attack.

Speaking in Kiev alongside the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Mr Zelensky said

little else about the fighting in the south and the east of the country and warned

against trusting Russian sources.

It's important that Russia always feels that they don't have much time left for them,

in my opinion.
