We'll hear from Nancy in a moment, but first, I want you to listen to something from pastor and radio host, Chris Brooks, who also serves on the board of Revive Our Hearts. He shared this at a

gathering of people who support Revive Our Hearts financially. I want to remind us for just a moment,

if I could, why this ministry is so, so needed. And I know Nancy's heart is not so much that your fervor for Revive our hearts would

increase, but that your fervor for the Lord would increase. But yet I'm sensitive to the fact that you

and I oftentimes will invest our time, talent, and treasure, and our local churches and ministries

that we appreciate sometimes need to be

reminded of why these ministries are needed and I'm convinced that revive our hearts is not just

a nice ministry it's not just a luxury I'm convinced deep down in my soul that this ministry is desperately

needed for such a time as this, that all of the years previous were important, but maybe no

moment more important than the crucible of the moment that we find ourselves in right now.

So why is this ministry needed?

To just sum it up in one phrase that you have heard again and again and again.

It's because we need to be reminded to behold the wonder of the word.

I'm ashamed to admit, and maybe you can be honest tonight with me, that so often I forget.

So often there are other attractive things that life seems to dangle in front of me,

that arouses my intentions and my affections.
