0:38.1	accountability for others. In the past few presidencies, the administration has been so concerned
0:43.2	about even a moment of weakness that the 25th Amendment was in vote during minor surgeries.
0:49.7	Passing the duties to the vice president, while the president was under anesthesia,
0:53.7	because even for that moment, the captain of the ship, absent could cause a major catastrophe.
1:02.0	Sadly, yesterday it became evident that not only has the president abdicated his duty to protect
1:07.4	the American people and the people's house. He invoked and inflamed passions that only gave
1:13.2	fuel to the insurrection that we saw here. When pressed to move and denounce the violence he
1:19.5	barely did so, while of course victimizing himself and seeming to give a wink and a nod to
1:25.6	those doing it. All indications are that the president has become unmoored, not just from his duty,
1:32.5	nor even his up, but from reality itself. It is for this reason that I call for the vice president
1:38.8	and members of the cabinet to ensure the next few weeks are safe for the American people
1:43.1	and that we have a sane captain in the ship. Section 4 of the 25th Amendment allows a majority
1:49.2	of the cabinet and the vice president to assume the duties of the office of presidency until the
1:54.5	president is able to himself. It's time to invoke the 25th Amendment and to end this nightmare.
