Summary

31-year-old Zachary Kennedy disappeared from Long Beach, California on October 22, 2017. He had been at a friend's house that evening when all activity on his phone suddenly stopped and his phone powered down. This friend has stated that Zachary left on foot that night but he's never been seen or heard from again.

UPDATE- On May 3, 2018, detectives executed a search warrant at the home where Zachary was last seen. While digging in the yard, they located a human remains. On May 9th, medical examiners confirmed that the body recovered was Zachary. They have not determined his cause of death and no arrest has been made. This is still an active investigation.

UPDATE: In March of 2022, Scott Leo was found guilty of drug charges in relation to Zachary’s death and sentenced to a maximum of 6 years and 8 months in state prison.
