Zachari Branch was the 12th wide receiver selected in the 2026 NFL draft.

15th pick in round three to the Atlanta Falcons.

And he lands in a spot here where there's some interesting appeal for fantasy football purposes for sure.

He was always going to be, I think, somebody who fantasy football people gravitated towards

as a manufactured touch player.

We saw a ton of screens, designed targets for him at Georgia last year, even at USC before that,

to some extent.

And now he lands with the Falcons where there's a wide open slot position available to him

in an offense where we've seen a lot of short targets funneled to the tight end and the slot

position here with Kevin Stefanski coming over from the Cleveland Browns.

So this is interesting, right?

I mean, outside of Drake London, pitts there are plenty of targets

available on this team pits is not the um short area tight-in the short area target that you typically

might think of at the titan position in terms of like how david and joku and harold van and junior

were used as short area targets, catch and run guys in this

Defansky offense. And so there's plenty of potential here for Branch. Is he good enough

to maximize on it? We've been burned in fantasy by a similar type of profile here, I would say, with

fellow Georgia wide receiver, Nicole Hardman, Cadarious Tony comes to mind. We've seen

gadgety players, manufactured touch players like this, not have a lot of staying power in the NFL, not be great bets for

fantasy football recently is, is Branch going to be different? So I've got the 2025 numbers here

up for the rookie class. You'll see Branch comes in seventh and yards per route run, 2.68 yards

per route run, a stellar 13% first down per route run rate.
