Summary

Zach, brother of Tyler, is also from Marshalltown but ended up going to high school in Ankeny, playing for Jaguars of Centennial. He never planned on playing college football, until a coach recruiting Riley Moss, his high school teammate, mentioned something to Tyler in late 2017. That sparked a multi year process of scratching and clawing his way into the program. His career lasted 2 years before he decided to move on, but sits as an example of how many, maybe the majority of walk on careers actually play out. And highlights the effort and work put in regardless of shining in the spotlight of college football like the star players.
