Zach warned me today that he, uh, he's in a mood. And he and I spoke about, uh, well,

just a couple hours, if that, after he had to sit through the entire meeting of the

so-called federal reserve.

If you want to understand the Fed, they are arsonists that when the fire gets out of control,

show up in their fire department outfits, spray the water down, or spray the fire down

and want an award for it.

That I mentioned the fact that my brother was in a mood. It's not just, it's not just

quips. Um, Zach was, went off in an incredibly educational way about what the Fed is.

And they asked him about that. It's very infamous. And I, I think, I think it's famous

and an important book. Um, the, the creature from Jekyll Islands. And we talked about whether

that's accurate. Um, he talked about the way the Fed, uh, exerts power over the country's

economy in ways that make it more powerful than all elected officials combined.

And then of course, we talked about the consistent theme of how arrogance and ignorance

combines into terrible, terrible effects, speaking of ignorance.

This was the first time I yelled at TV. They go, yeah, quantitative easing didn't work like we

wanted it to. Now just for the listeners to know, quantitative easing is where they print money

out of thin air and they start buying bonds from the bank. And they thought that would make

banks sitting on all this cash. Oh, the bank now is going to take that money and go out and lend it.

Okay, let me ask you a question. If the Fed is buying bonds from you, okay, and they're telling you

that they're going to go out in the market and buy these bonds from everybody with an unlimited

stack of money. Are you going to take the money that they pay you for your bonds and go out there

and lend on a 30 year mortgage to a guy and, and that have that mortgage pay you three and a half
