All right, folks, remote episode of the Wingfield podcast.

I've said the dead of summer how many times now, but it really does feel like it. It's remote because we have Max Boltman on this episode filling in for Evan who's still away. We're here. We're still doing this thing. It is a slow summer. Max, have you been? I've been good. Got some good downtime. I can't say I'm quite like itching to be back yet, but it's starting to come around, right? Like you get that, you start to get the, you know, I saw World Junior Summer Showcase live. I went to Minneapolis for that. Now you're seeing stuff out of the Halenka and you start to feel those muscles kind of being like, hey, shouldn't I be in a rink right now? So it's coming. I'm not, I'm not itching yet, but it's coming.

I feel you. I'm not fully there, but I can see it over the horizon. The light's starting to peek over. Brad went to the LCA, but not for hockey purposes. So the foreshadowing is coming. Yeah, it's just, it's that feeling of like, shouldn't I be doing something right now?

And for the first, you know, month after free agency, I don't feel that way at all. Candidly, I feel like what I should be doing is trying to get some sunshine in my life. But by this point, like, it does feel close enough that I'm like, yeah, okay. Well, I appreciate you still making the time during what is still decidedly summer vacation and stepping in. I'm sure Evan, when he listens back to this episode, he absolutely will, of course. He'll feel the same way. Folks, welcome to the Wingreveil podcast.
