So a little bit of a fun story to bring us into today's remote episode of the Wingwheel

podcast. And yes, it's remote, but it's for good reason

because we have Max Boltman of the Athletic Detroit back on the show for the Good in the Room

version of the Wingwheel podcast. So I was trying to plan with Max as to what episode this

month he would be on. And it was going to be something like two weeks ago. And the timing just

didn't work out. max was like oh i'm

really sorry man it's like oh dude don't worry what's going to happen it's like the red rings are

going to be in the same place post holiday break and nothing will have changed we'll have the same

kind of December doldrums to talk about and i just remember that right now opening this episode, I am so happy we ran out the clock

because imagine you had been on the episode right before the coaching change.

Why?

Did something happen?

Yeah, I just remember got sassy in an interview.

That's pretty much all that happened.

That did happen.

It's been an eventful week. And I don't think, to your point,

if we had done this five days ago or six days ago or whatever the most recent alternative

would have been, I don't think we would have had this. I don't think we would have been

able to be like, yeah, like, this is something that's coming. And so now I get to look smart, which I really appreciate. Great for you. I wish you
