I've never been more emphatic in my conviction than Evan is exactly what every hockey GM executive former player type is,

then yesterday when Eisman said, just straight up admitted, yeah, I was daydreaming.

That's like when you're on a Zoom call and you're multitasking or not paying attention on mute

and all of a sudden you hear your name and you have

no context to what was said and you're just like what generalities can I say to get out of this

hole that I've dug myself into first six months with that department you you try to talk your way out

of it and just read expressions after that's just yeah you just, yeah, straight up, you lost me there.

Can you repeat all that?

I was shocked.

It was, I mean, I should have known better.

I actually made a mistake online, believe it or not, but I tried to say like, hey, this is just like a moment of levity. There's plenty

else in that presser if you want to be mad and if you are justifiably angry to hang on to.

And that was stupid of me. Like, genuinely, I'm not even being facetious. That was dumb of me.

Because I, people are just not in the mood to laugh right now, very obviously. And I think for us, it's a little bit of like, I'll call it the steelyness,

but definitely like the numbness of the last decade of this, where it's like, oh, yeah,

that's not the biggest issue of the day.

Yeah, if you're a casual fan, you know, you follow the team when they're doing well,

you follow them when they're winning, and then you coincidentally

see that clip, you're probably freaking out.
