Right in the thick of things here, the Christmas holiday season.

That's some interesting listener email to go through today.

And then we're going to be talking about teen ministry

Especially a saddleback

Now I know it just seems like I pick on those guys on Saddleback and it's just because I have such high expectations for him.

Yeah, well, yeah, Josh Griffin, who's one of the youth pastors in the high school youth

ministry over at Saddleback Church, on his blog today kind of opened up a can of

worms. I don't think he expected that. And we're going to talk about what he wrote and kind of it I'm going to give

some biblical critique and the nice thing is is that I have his permission to you

know to give biblical critique on I had an opportunity to talk to him and he's asked that the

contents of that conversation remain between the two of us and I'm going to honor that

but he's he's given me permission to

Bivocly, you know, weigh in on this.

And so which I think is a great thing.

I've met Josh Griffin. I think he's a great kid.

And, you know, something for him to keep in mind is it 15 years from now

he's going to be the head pastor of Saddleback church he's the next Rick Warren.

Well he may not be, but chances are very likely that, you know, 15 years from now he's going to be the head pastor at some church on his own. And the fact that he works for Saddleback Church and in the youth ministry department there

and he's literally one of the thought leaders as it pertains to youth ministry the

things that he says are you know really are being watched by a lot of people you know
