We continue our celebration of Bob Bailey's 110th birthday with the conclusion of the McLean

Matter. Now, the McLean Matter is the first of four serials where we have a missing episode to deal with.

In this case, the missing episode falls right in the middle of the serial.

Now, John Abbott in his book, The Who is Johnny Dollar Matter, includes a summary of

episode three based on looking at the script.

And it says that the episode began with Vic Wade calling Johnny,

and I assume that Vic Wade was with the Los Angeles Police Department.

And Wade shows him a statement from a guy named George Riley who was the boyfriend of

Teresa Corbett. Riley tells Johnny that he's been being followed by police looked at as someone

who they suspect as being involved in Teresa's disappearance.

Johnny tells Riley that Teresa is dead and buried in Los Angeles.

When Johnny goes back to the police and to Vic Wade, Wade advises that the police were not

aware of Teresa's heart condition. And apparently,

the LAPD had been able to check phone records, and they found out that there was no record

of a call from Dr. McLean to New Jersey. Based on this information, Johnny reaches the conclusion that Dr. McLean was
