first. Well, now it's time for today's episode of yours truly Johnny Dollar. While

Johnny Dollar went off the air in January of 1952, it returned in July as a summer series. It was

the second straight year that CBS had brought back a canceled detective series as a summer replacement program.

The first year they did it in 1951, with Gerald Moore reprising the role of Philip Marlowe.

But we're going to go ahead and take a listen at the first episode of the Johnny Dollar summer series and the last available episode we have with Edmund O'Brien.

The original air date July 2nd of 1952 and the title is The Amelia Harwell Matter.
