The following is an account of expenses incurred during my investigation of the Markham Matter. Expense account item one,

$143.69, air transportation from Hartford to San Francisco. Item two, $17 for incidentals

along the way, including transportation from the airport to the St. Francis Hotel.

I walked the eight blocks to the Commodore building where Ed Porter had his office on the fourth floor.
