Water Into Wine podcast. I'm so excited about the guest today.

I moved to Atlanta and Lillian quickly became one of my good friends because a high schooler introduced us.

And I remember if a high schooler or mom introduces you and says you're going to be friends,

sometimes you're like, okay, that's really cute.

Like maybe this will work.

Like you're sweet.

I'll like hang out with her ones.

And I don't think I even hung out with her I think we just texted for a second time we actually met at a young adults thing the second time and then you thought I was funny and then I thought you were funny and then we became friends so it's not a way to become friends I don't know what it is I know humor is something so important to be in relationships if someone can't make me laugh and I'm like that so great. I'll see you around. No, truly, truly.

But it only took two times for us to become friends.

Then we hung on after that.

And then the rest is, and what's funny is, how old are you again? Like 24? I'm 24. I think this is, I'm also 28. So I think when I moved to Atlanta, I wanted all my friends. I don't mean this at all as an insult.

But I'm like, naturally, I think you want friends around your own age.

And you're like, you think of things.

Like I'm like, oh my gosh, I could have been billions.

Great. at all as an insult but i'm like naturally i think you want friends around your own age and you're like you think of things like i'm like oh my gosh i could have been lilyans great great grand big in my sorority you know which is so stupid to think of things like that and then i think now i'm at the point where i'm like wait i want my friends to be in the same season or like similar life or different ages like i have some moms who were friends who are like 45 and i'm like what's up how's it going so I think I had to get over that which that wasn't even something I said but I think in my head I was I moved to new city and like who else is 27 and single and doing this and you had just graduated almost recently but it was so great and so you've been a great friend so yeah tell us a little about yourself um well my name is lily in york i'm from rolling north koreland originally and i went to the university of georgia so go dogs don't bark well i won't bark i know that's probably a lot of georgia girls think the barking is annoying though it is a lot okay i'm glad that you've met it's a lot but it is really fun i I think of those people actually bark to I moved to Atlanta and I went to this bar called Park Tavern and people were just barking a mess.

Yeah, you know, it's one of those i always say you don't don't knock it till you try it's it's pretty fun join on in we're pretty yeah oh gosh um but it's also i understand i think on any first date for someone who didn't go to georgia i know no i was asked I was on a first date, if they didn't go to Georgia, a guy would always ask,

like, wait, do you bark?

And I was like, I love that.

That's the question.

And it makes me, it would always be like, hi, how are you?
