Welcome to the bad broadcast. I name is Maddie. So glad that you're here on this probably blazing hot summer morning or

afternoon or evening. I just got back from the farm, a curiosity farm with Coco. You know,

the only thing that could make chasing a toddler around in the heat worse would be doing it

next to animals, farm animals that smell bad. That was really the cherry on top.

So I stink, but we're here. We're recording. And I'm also videoing this episode, which I need to do more.

I know I need to. And you know what? I know that I have said a million times that I would do it.

And then I don't. It's because it's very disorienting and really it throws me for a loop when I have to set up a camera and look at myself as I'm recording.

I don't like it. Okay. I got into audio because I wanted to do audio. I didn't know that I would have to film myself all these years later and I have to start doing video. But you know what? You know what I'm

learning? The longer I've been doing the content thing and, you know, podcasting all that.

The future belongs to the editors. The people who really do like to like film and put videos

together and edit it all because the filming is not the hard part. It's the editing and getting

it posted. I need help with it so bad. I know I've said a million times. I need an assistant.

And you guys always trickle in. You're like, hey, I'm here. And I'm like, I know. I just,

I need somebody to come in, set up a camera, leave my house for two hours while I record because I can't record in the presence of anyone.

I need my whole house to be empty. And then come back and get the video and and break it up into

clips. This is a real job posting. I know. But I'm like, I'm like the girl who cried,

resistant. Like I, I just, I do need help. I'm learning. I can't do it all, especially in this

phase that I'm in. I just, I can do anything, learning I can't do it all, especially in this phase that I'm in. I just,

I can do anything, but I can't do everything. Susan Peterson taught me that. So I just got back

from a wonderful week spent in Georgia at my family reunion. It was so much fun. It was so hot,

but I really love it. And I'm grateful that I
